Awful! Why did they change it?

I've been using the Vitamin C Renewing Moisturizer for years. It used to be "Probiotics Rooibos, 100% stable vitamin C may support collagen health." This latest bottle now says "Ferulic Acid Rooibos brightens, moisturizes, and reduces the appearance of discoloration." Well--now it sucks! It used to be a thick cream with a slight citrus scent that went on smooth. Now it's a runny, separated liquid, and it feels sticky on the skin until it's washed off. Way to ruin a great product, Derma-E. Guess I'll be throwing this bottle out and shopping elsewhere. Thanks for wasting my money.

I've been using this product for almost 2 years, and just had to buy a new bottle. Well, it's the new formula and I hate it! There's like a white film on my skin now, and it doesn't absorb properly anymore. It smells horrible too — if I wanted to smell like sunscreen, I'd just put sunscreen on. So disappointing.

I've bought this vitamin c moisturizer 3 times already! I wash my face just with water in the morning and then apply this moisturizer, followed by sunscreen. Before bed, I thoroughly wash my face with cleanser and apply the moisturizer! I like to keep my routine simple and I'm happy that this moisturizer keeps my face smooth, hydrated, and I've noticed my dark spots have lightened. The consistency is light and is perfect with layering moisturizers. A definite essential!

I've used this moisturizer for years and it WAS a great moisturizer but they recently changed the formula and now it's SUPER GREASY and OILY!! When applied it looks like I put white shoe polish all over my face! YUCK!! they need to go back to the old formula

I use this product morning and night after I wash my face. It works great doesn't leave my face oily or greasy.
Hi, I just bought the vit c renewing moisturizer and the texture is like two different components separated, like one is a little oily liquid and the other is a little yellow cream. I've tried to shake the container to see if it would combine the contents again but not really. It's not past its expiration date. Is it normal? And is it safe to use? I just dont' see how I can follow the recommandation to apply a generous layer since there is no way to layer this as is. Thank you so very much for your support!

It is normal for the batches to vary and change a little overtime. DERMA E incorporates natural ingredients such as herbs and botanicals into its formulas. Sometimes these natural ingredients have slightly different characteristics, such as color or aroma, depending upon the source and the harvest. As a result, our products may vary in color or scent or texture from batch to batch. We don’t use harsh preservatives to keep them 100% consistent. If you are not pasted the expiration date the item is fine. The first two numbers on the bottom are the lot # these begin with the year they are put in the container and are good for 3 years after so they both are still good.
What is the percentage of vitamin C in this moisturizer as well s the Vet C with hyaluronic? Thank you

DERMA E is considered safe and non-toxic. Beyond that, it’s good to know that the percentage of an ingredient in a formula is just one part of the story. When designing each formula, DERMA E carefully considers the product’s effectiveness, natural content, pH balance, gentleness and safety. All DERMA E products are between a 5.5pH - 6.5pH.

Is retinol a primary active ingredient in the formula of the Vitamin C Renewing Moisturizer? I experience occasional outbreaks of dermatitis on my face and am experiencing one now after using this moisturizer for a few weeks, and I just saw retinol in the ingredient list... I always intended to avoid retinol due to my sensitive skin. Thanks for your help!
